Spring Rolls with Shrimps

Spring rolls you can make in many different ways. It’s basically a kind of salad in a rice sheet. Anything is possible. So just add what you like. The sauce you can replace with anything of your own preference. For instance if you prefer a sweet sauce, just do it!

Spring Rolls with Shrimps

  • Noodles (I think the best regular noodles, but noodles, glass noodles, etc. can all.)
  • Paprika (three colors)
  • Shrimps
  • Rice Sheets
  • Soft lettuce (including lettuce)
  • Fresh herbs (such as mint and coriander)

Cook the noodles according to package directions. Wash the peppers and cut into strips as thin as possible.

Do the same with the herbs.

Cook the prawns for 1-2 minutes in a pan with oil. Make sure all ingredients for the filling are all ready before you continue.

Fill a large shallow plate or bowl with warm water.

Moisture here the rice paper, for approximately 10-30 seconds (depending on the temperature of the water) until it becomes soft.

Place the rice paper on a cutting board and rub it smooth.
Then rapidly fill the rice paper first put three (half) shrimps in the middle, then a few strips of bell pepper, then some herbs, noodles and finally hit a few leaves. Fold the rice paper and done!

One-Pan Pasta With Mushrooms and Spinach

One-pan pasta with mushrooms and Spinach

With the previous recipe, I already explained why I am such a big fan of these recipes.

Literally, you throw everything into one pot and dinner is served. I love this kind of easy meals; on days that I actually do not have time to cook, I can still quickly something healthy on the table.

One-pan Pasta with Mushrooms and Spinach (3-4 people)

  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 150g mushrooms (cleaned)
  • 400 ml water
  • 200g linguine (or other pasta)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 cloves finely chopped garlic (optional, depending on whether garlic is in the cream cheese)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • two large hands spinach
  • 100g cream cheese (I used light Boursin)
  • pepper
  • salt

So how do you make it?

Dissolve the vegetable stock cube in 400ml boiling water.

Meanwhile, cut the mushrooms into thin slices.

Pour the vegetable stock into a large saucepan and add the pasta, oil, mushrooms, garlic, Oregano and thyme. Bring to the boil. Then leave on low heat for 5-10 minutes or cook until the pasta is tender.

Meanwhile, stir regularly in the pan so that the ingredients can not stick to the bottom. If the pasta is too big for the pan (and it did not come under water fast enough during cooking), break the pasta in half.

I do this mostly out of convenience right away so I did not have to worry more to it.

Meanwhile wash the spinach. When the pasta is ready, add the spinach and stir about 1 minute with.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cream cheese through. Season to your own taste with salt and pepper

This recipe is one of my favorite Mexican dishes. So how do you make a quesadilla with avocado tomato and cheese? You can also add some chunks of smoked chicken quesadillas to this good recipe

Healthy Avocado Quesadilla Recipe for 2

Time: 15 min.

What do you need for this Healthy Avocado Quesadilla Recipe?

  • 4 wraps
  • 1 avocado
  • pair of cherry tomatoes
  • 2 handfuls of grated cheese
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp creme fraiche
  • pinch of salt and pepper

How to make it:

Cut the avocado into slices and cut the cherry tomatoes into pieces. Grease a wrap with creme fraiche. Siege the wrap with avocado, tomato, a layer of grated cheese, pinch of salt and pepper and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
Put the other wrap it and press a little bit. Pour a little oil in a pan and let the pan heat up. Then fry the quesadillas about 3-4 min. Per side until it is golden brown. You can turn the avocado quesadilla with a spatula or a plate.

Healty Spinach Soup Recipe

Want to make another soup that you can in 15 minutes? Try this delicious and healthy spinach soup recipe. Super easy to make. I served the soup with a little Parmesan cheese and a slice of bread.

Recipe for 2 people

Time: 15 min.

What do you need for the Healthy Spinach Soup Recipe:

  • 150 g (frozen) spinach
  • 55 grams butter
  • 55 grams flour
  • 300 ml of milk
  • 600 ml broth
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • bacon / bacon for garnish

What do you need to do:

Melt the butter in a pan and put the flour there. Fry for a minute. Add the milk and stock and bring it to boil.

Once it boils, add the spinach. When you use fresh spinach cook it until it is wilted.

After everything is cooked puree your soup or with a hand blender. Garnish your spinach soup with parmesan cheese and a slice of bread.

Naan bread with tomatoes and pesto

Naan breads are very tasty and you can actually add anything and everything, and end with something like a pizza. We have filled this naan bread with tomato, onion, pesto sauce, tomato and spices. But you can also opt for other ingredients like bits of ham, mozzarella and pepper.

Recipe for 2 naan breads

Time: 10 min + 5 min in the oven.

What do you need Naan Bread with Tomatoes and Pesto:

  • 2 naanbreads
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 tbsp tomato puree or tomato sauce
  • few teaspoons pesto
  • 1 tsp basil
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • pinch of black pepper and a pinch of salt
  • handful of grated cheese

What do you need to do to make Naan Bread with Tomatoes and Pesto?

Begin the pre-heating of your oven at about 200 degrees.

Cut the tomatoes into slices and cut the onion into rings. Moisture the naan breads with tomato paste or tomato sauce tomato paste.

Divide the onions and tomato slices on naan breads. Spread with a small spoon some pesto on the buns.

Season to taste with basil, pinch of garlic powder and a pinch of salt and pepper. Finally, sprinkle grated cheese on the buns. Put the naan breads for approximately 5 minutes in the oven.

Losing weight is one of the most popular resolutions at the end of the year.

Whether you plan to lose weight in 2016, it actually depends on a number of factors.

The main factors would be healthy eating and exercising more.

In addition, it would be very important to know the following in order to actually succeed with your weight loss goal. This would be:

  • What you EXACTLY should eat
  • Unhealthy habits that you should QUIT!

Do you want to lose a lot of weight? Great!

You are not the only one

In The United States, a lot of people are obese and every day thousands of people search for ways to lose weight.

It is smart to measure this in pounds, because to lose 2 pounds a week is a realistic goal.

To lose 2 pounds a week is a healthy pursuit. It is responsible and you do not need to begin with pills or crash diets.

The big advantage of a realistic goal is the fact that you lose weight in a healthy and responsible way.

Is 2 pounds. A lot?

No, it is not a lot!

There is a big difference in whether you only want to lose pounds or if you also want to make sure that you wont gain any anymore. In 2 pounds there are approximately 7,700 calories.

That sounds like a lot, but actually it isn’t. Your body needs energy (therefore also calories) in order to function.

The key is to make sure that your body receives less than 7700 calories, so you will lose weight naturally.

The following guidelines can help you on the right way to lose 2 pounds a week.

CHOOSE A GOOD TIME TO START

To lose 2 pounds a week, you also need to start at a good time.

If you are not comfortable in your own skin, when losing weight, or if you are very busy you will be then discouraged very easily.

December for example is much more difficult to start than in January. Choose also your days accordingly, if you feel more comfortable in the weekend, then start with that.

Be aware that if you want to lose weight, you also need to change a pattern in your daily life.

And in this article I will focus on these standpoints which will help you succeed to lose 2 pounds a week.

1.You need have the right mindset and strategy

Losing 1 or 2 pounds per week is a realistic goal.

Also take some time in between to let your body rests.

For example, if you have a big goal in mind for more than 6 pounds, plan 4 months for it.

Plan well in advance and let your body relax sometimes!

Achievable targets ensure not only that you stay more motivated, it is also better for your health and you will continue to achieve your goal.

3.Change old habits

It is also important to adapt your old diet and lifestyle.

The best way is to have a look at yourself and see which habits you have and which you can easily change.

A very good example of a habit that you could change for the better of yourself would be: the eternal biscuit with coffee or tea with sugar.

If you do this 4 times a day, you quickly get a lot of extra carbohydrates in.

In one-year time this could get up to 6 pounds a year!!!!!

4.Know what you eat

If you want to lose 2 pounds a week then it is important to consciously deal with nutrition.

It may be helpful to keep a food diary so you can understand your diet and see with which foods you have a lot of difficulty.

The next step is to ensure that your difficult moments and temptations decrease and get out of your way.

Ways to realize this is by always carrying a healthy snack with you for times when you get hungry.

Think of fruit, dried fruit, raw vegetables or dried biscuits. And most importantly, don’t do any groceries on an empty stomach!

5.Provide Regularity

Regularity is important in a healthy diet.

That means: three times a day, a main meal and up to 3 times something in between.

Try to eat every day around the same time.

You will notice that your body gets used to this. You will no longer be overtaken by a sudden appetite.

6.Do NOT Do Strange Things

For you the main goal is to stick to your healthy habit. One way of doing this is by always sticking to your own preferences.

Do not start eating green beans, if you hate them.

Choose another vegetable you rather prefer.

This also counts for moving.

Always choose a form of exercise that you like, so will always be more engaged to it.

How to Lose 10 pounds in 3 days

When I convinced myself to start losing weight ASAP, I started with reading almost any kinds of diet that gives you the guarantee that you will lose a lot of weight in a short period of time.

And so it happened that I came across this diet called: “The 3 Day Diet” which basically means: “Lose 10 Pounds in 3 Days”.

Why?

This diet claims that you can lose 10 pounds in 3 days. I know.

The first thought that will come up in your mind would be: “HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE” the question that follows shortly after in your mind would probably be “is that even true?”.

So in this article I will give you my thoughts on this “lose 10 pounds in 3 days” diet. Whether it is plausible and if it is possible to achieve the claimed benefits.

It claims that you can lose 10 pounds in 3 days.

So because of this it may also be called a crash diet.

This because it basically comes down on taking fewer calories a day as you normally take in and in this way you can lose quite some pounds.

After these 3 days you can go back to your normal eating habit again to switch again to the 3 days diet after 4 days of normal eating where the cycle will repeat itself.

In the three days of the 3 days’ diet you will have to stick to a strict diet regimen where you may only have between 750 and 900 calories per day.

The average number of calories that you need per day for men is 2500 and for women 2000.

During these 3 days, the body will have less than half of the necessary calories.

The 3 days diet consists of a number of principles, which you must follow.

You can drink as much water, coffee and tea as you want, but you can not add any milk or sugar. It is recommended to drink a lot of water, to properly get rid of the waste in the body.

You will have three meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks are strictly forbidden.

There are a number of variations in the 3-day diet, but these are in accordance with the reduction of carbohydrates and fats. Below you can read a nutrition plan, seen by many as the right way to follow this diet.

As stated, the nutrition program a strict diet over 3 days, which should therefore be followed exactly for best results.

On the first day you take for breakfast a toasted multi grain bread, where you can add peanut butter on. In addition, you can take one half of a grapefruit. Coffee and tea you can have plenty, but as mentioned without any milk or sugar.

In the afternoon you will have again toasted multi grain bread, with 60 grams of drained tuna. And of course coffee/tea if needed.

In the evening you can take 250 grams of vegetables of your own preference, although it is recommended to have 125 grams of fresh green beans and 125 grams of fresh cooked beetroot.

In addition, take about 100 grams of lean meat, such as lean chicken or roast beef. Furthermore, for dessert you will have 120g vanilla ice cream and an apple.

On the second day you take for breakfast once again a toasted multi grain bread.

You can take one boiled egg and half a banana. Coffee, tea or water you can drink again as much as you want.

For lunch, take 5 crackers and 120 grams of fat cheese or low-fat cottage cheese, and coffee or tea.

In the evening the dinner consists of three sausages from a can  +/- 200 grams of fruit (preferably broccoli and carrots) and half a banana. For dessert, you can take 60 grams’ vanilla ice cream.

Lose 10 Pounds in 3 Days: Final Day

On the third and final day of the diet your breakfast consists of 5 crackers, 100 grams of fat cheese, an apple and coffee or tea.

For lunch, take a toasted multi grain bread and a boiled egg, and coffee or tea.

In the evening, take about 250 grams of vegetables of your choice, but preferably fresh cooked beetroot and steamed cauliflower.

In addition, you may have 60 grams of drained tuna in a can, and for dessert a part of watermelon and 60 grams’ vanilla ice cream.

Lose 10 pounds in 3 days. The pros and cons of the 3 day diet

So after reading the diet. How does it sounds to you?

I am not trying to convince you of a certain point, but merely try to give you my insights based on what I know of weight loss and healthy eating.

To be honest it doesn’t sound like that much fun to me. And rather like a Spartan method of living.

So let’s go the advantages. We can say one of the advantages is that its period is relatively short.

So that means that you can probably stick to it. The nutrients mentioned are pretty basic and simple and shouldn’t be hard to find.

Now, the disadvantages. The first that comes up in my mind is that I am not so sure if you can lose 10 pounds in 3 days.

Why?

Because yes the way of eating is pretty good and is guaranteed for weight loss. But if you want to lose that MUCH of an amount, it is certainly necessary also to exercise a lot.

So besides this points another point that I want to mention is that because this diet is so short, the easier it is to fall back in your old pattern of eating.

Which basically is not the thing that you are searching for…..

So what does that mean? It means that it will be quite easy to gain weight after these 3 days.

Therefore, in my opinion it doesn’t sound very good as a diet in my opinion. If you want to find a strategy that you can apply for the rest of your life. Whenever you want. Wherever you want. Why do I say this?

Because of this diet, a lot of people will just continue with their old eating pattern and probably eat like a pig for 4 days only to suffer and eat only the bare essentials for your body for 3 days.

As I mentioned before in other articles, I always say that losing weight should be fun and challenging, but it should not be a Spartan way of living, which is cruel and horrible (sounds like a lot of old diets).

If you want to lose 10 pounds in 3 days I find that it is possible to lose a lot of weight in 3 days with this methods, but 10 pounds it is truly a lot.

And losing that much in 3 days wouldn’t be healthy at all.

Specific nutritional supplements such as pre workout for women can be a major supporting role in getting back to shape.

However, there are different opinions about this and everyone will say something completely different about this topic.

This article is dedicated to clear out the vagueness and give you comprehensive overview about supplements.

1.Supplements for Women

Research shows that a large group of people thinks that they eat the sufficient amount of vegetables and fruit, while only 45% of these people really eat enough!

Shocking!

So it appears a difficult job to get the recommended daily allowance of nutrients inside.

One reason for this might be that people find it difficult to vary with their food, or it could be the case that your body needs more different kinds of nutrients.

The supplements that are the best fit for your body also depends on the goal that you want to achieve.

Protein for Women, a Must?

Proteins (Whey Isolate) is mainly for building, reparation and conservation of the muscles after exercise.

After a work out it is extremely important to have a good rest in order to recover well.

When you use Protein supplements it will accelerate the recovery process significantly so that you can get back on the training track or gym.

So is it necessary to have Protein supplements for your work out?

Indeed, it is extremely important to eat well when you work out.

And getting enough protein means that your body will recover good. In the past there have been a lot of studies, and these revealed that if you get more than 1.8gram Protein per kilogram of bodyweight inside, it will not have a better added value.

So this means basically that it is not necessary to have protein supplement shakes in your diet.

Just eating natural proteins will be more than enough. These you can find in: eggs, chicken, fish, cheese, milk, meat and more!

Having protein hakes in your diet can be of added value, but they are not necessary for good results.

2.Weight Gainer for Women a Must?

If your goal is to build muscles, then it is important to first gain some mass and then build muscles.

For this purpose, a lot of people use a weight gainer supplement.

This mainly consists of protein and carbohydrates which facilitate the growth of muscles.

When you want to build muscle, you have to do a lot of heavy strength exercises. In addition, you also need to get more calories than you actually burn.

These extra calories you can actually get just by eating more. If you have troubles with eating a lot, then weight gainers are an easy way to gain weight, but weight gainers are not essential to build muscles.

You can get the same effect by eating more and schedule what you are going to eat.

3.What? Amino Acids for Women

Amino acids (BCAA E. D.) are the building blocks of protein. Our bodies need protein to repair and build our muscles.

BCAA Amino Acids are not needed when you get a sufficient mount of protein inside.

But it is recommended to take some BCAA Amino Acids for when you are going to train on an empty stomach.

This is to prevent unnecessary muscle break down. But the same principle applies that a normal meal with protein is sufficient enough and thus making BCAA Amino Acids not a must have.

4.Should You Get Multivitamin supplements

Multivitamins include a lot of antioxidants and vitamin B. This Vitamins are especially good because they stimulate the natural energy in your body.

Vitamins and antioxidants are a must have for when you are working out a lot.

Because when you are getting the most out of your body, you also need the right stuff to recover well.

What additional vitamins you need depends per body, exercise level, diet etc. Because of this, I can’t give you a clear recommendation on if it is necessary or not.

5.Pre-Workout for Women Good?

Pre-workout supplements are literally mean supplements to take before a workout. Most pre-workout supplements consist of a combination of fast carbohydrates (sugars).

So within a few minutes after taking the pre workout, your body gets new energy, strength and focus.

This certainly can make a difference during training and the results can become more clear when you are involved in a heavier workout which has more weights and sets.

Pre-workouts are often no more than unnecessary sugars and / or a large quantity of caffeine and other stimulatory agents.

Pre workout for women consists of different ingredients than the one for man but in general the purpose serves the same goal.

The affect of caffeine decreases a lot as your body gets tolerant after taking the pre work out.

Thus making it only efficient in the beginning and you will/need to take more and more for the same effect.

Pre workout for women can be efficient but only for a short period, but what comes out to be the most important thing is the mental attitude.

Majority of the time it turns out that your mental state is the key factor in failing or succeeding.

Taking a bit of caffeine before your workout can have some good results. But I would suggest that pre workout for women is not necessary as the important element is having a right mindset.

6.Post Work Out for Women Good?

A post work out supplement you take after your workout.

And its core function is to let your body recover quickly so you can gain more strength and energy in a short time and therefore lets you continue training more intense.

A post workout for women is not necessary.

You can easily do this by eating a good meal after your training which has the right nutrition in it so that your body can recover in good and healthy manner.

So to conclude if pre workout for women is necessary or if other supplements are needed.

My answer is that if you want to get the most out of your workout then it is possible to add some supplements BUT it is absolutely not necessary.

Unfortunately I have no experience with these type of mats.

And always use a good source of protein such as lean meat, low-fat cheese, egg or fish. A good breakfast creates an efficient metabolism that stores less fat.

This is a very important habit.

This because you body will get less active the later it gets in the day and therefore less able to process the calories you eat.

Personally, I find it quite boring to run for 30 or 40 min in the gym.

When doing this. I always try to listen to music that is relaxing, so that my thoughts will have a free run by themselves.

When you are listening to your favorite music, it is quite tempting to put the volume on maximum level.

Artichoke

  • One small artichoke contains three grams of protein – which is about half the amount in an egg. Go and cook them!

I always enjoy making soup and when my friends come over, they are usually always stunned that they always get some soup.

In a way it shocked me to know that they didn’t know the benefits of soup. While the benefits of soup are so good,

I thought it a good reason to share my knowledge and explain all the benefits of soup.

Soup is a very easy way to eat vegetables.

How many vegetables you eat over a bowl of soup is of course highly dependent on what you do in your soup.

A pan with 600 grams of vegetables on a liter of water for four people, you provide about 150 grams of vegetables.

Then you are already a long way for the recommended 250 grams.

With a cup of soup not only come easier to the recommended daily amount of vegetables: it also helps in keeping your hydration maintained.
