Losing weight is one of the most popular resolutions at the end of the year.
Whether you plan to lose weight in 2016, it actually depends on a number of factors.
The main factors would be healthy eating and exercising more.
In addition, it would be very important to know the following in order to actually succeed with your weight loss goal. This would be:

In The United States, a lot of people are obese and every day thousands of people search for ways to lose weight.
It is smart to measure this in pounds, because to lose 2 pounds a week is a realistic goal.
To lose 2 pounds a week is a healthy pursuit. It is responsible and you do not need to begin with pills or crash diets.
The big advantage of a realistic goal is the fact that you lose weight in a healthy and responsible way.
Is 2 pounds. A lot?
No, it is not a lot!
There is a big difference in whether you only want to lose pounds or if you also want to make sure that you wont gain any anymore. In 2 pounds there are approximately 7,700 calories.
That sounds like a lot, but actually it isn’t. Your body needs energy (therefore also calories) in order to function.
The key is to make sure that your body receives less than 7700 calories, so you will lose weight naturally.
The following guidelines can help you on the right way to lose 2 pounds a week.
To lose 2 pounds a week, you also need to start at a good time.
If you are not comfortable in your own skin, when losing weight, or if you are very busy you will be then discouraged very easily.
December for example is much more difficult to start than in January. Choose also your days accordingly, if you feel more comfortable in the weekend, then start with that.
Be aware that if you want to lose weight, you also need to change a pattern in your daily life.

Losing 1 or 2 pounds per week is a realistic goal.
Also take some time in between to let your body rests.
For example, if you have a big goal in mind for more than 6 pounds, plan 4 months for it.
Give your body some rest in between…….
Plan well in advance and let your body relax sometimes!
Achievable targets ensure not only that you stay more motivated, it is also better for your health and you will continue to achieve your goal.
It is also important to adapt your old diet and lifestyle.
The best way is to have a look at yourself and see which habits you have and which you can easily change.
A very good example of a habit that you could change for the better of yourself would be: the eternal biscuit with coffee or tea with sugar.
If you do this 4 times a day, you quickly get a lot of extra carbohydrates in.
In one-year time this could get up to 6 pounds a year!!!!!
If you want to lose 2 pounds a week then it is important to consciously deal with nutrition.
It may be helpful to keep a food diary so you can understand your diet and see with which foods you have a lot of difficulty.
The next step is to ensure that your difficult moments and temptations decrease and get out of your way.
Ways to realize this is by always carrying a healthy snack with you for times when you get hungry.
Think of fruit, dried fruit, raw vegetables or dried biscuits. And most importantly, don’t do any groceries on an empty stomach!
Regularity is important in a healthy diet.
That means: three times a day, a main meal and up to 3 times something in between.
Try to eat every day around the same time.
You will notice that your body gets used to this. You will no longer be overtaken by a sudden appetite.
For you the main goal is to stick to your healthy habit. One way of doing this is by always sticking to your own preferences.
Do not start eating green beans, if you hate them.
Choose another vegetable you rather prefer.
This also counts for moving.
Always choose a form of exercise that you like, so will always be more engaged to it.
